It started in a Miami apartment with a simple desire: to make something beautiful by hand. Maxwell Fortney had never worked with leather, never touched a sewing machine, never built anything meant to last generations.
But the desire had always been there. So began the journey—researching, learning, sketching deep into the night. Studying the masters. Sourcing the same leather used by the great houses. Practicing until fingers knew the stitches by memory.
The first bag took months. Every cut deliberate. Every stitch placed with intention. It was being built for Sol—Marisol—in secret. When finally placed in her hands, something extraordinary happened.
That moment became FSVL. Not a brand, but a continuation. A house built on the belief that the best things are made slowly, carefully, and with love.
